Fresh unripe papaya!! My cousin just had a baby a few days ago, she ate half of a medium sized unripe papaya wednesday night and on thursday morning she went into labor and had him that same afternoon! I am 33 weeks but my baby is measuring 35 so as soon as I hit 37 weeks I’m buying a papaya! Good luck ladies!! (p.s. theres lots of info about papaya to induce labor, google it!)

I don’t think it’s the actual intercourse that can jump start labor it’s something in the seamen. I won’t try that because my dr. said no sex in the last month. But nipple stimulation has also shown to possibly start labor. Some of these things have studies that have proven they can work but doesn’t mean they always do for everyone but if your willing to try go for it otherwise the babies will come when they are ready.

hi ladies i’m 35 weeks and inthe worst pain ever!!! this is boy #4 for me and my last one was 6 years ago….I had all my boys at 35 weeks but i’m showing no signs of labor yet….any suggestions???

Im 38 weeks pregnant and and just about done being pregnant. My daughter is like 7 pounds already and im having back pain cause shes head down but face up. Any suggestions on what to try ? ive tried everythinggg ! and nothing seems to be working.

I am 38 weeks pregnant with my baby boy, pregnancy does not agree with my body I have been in horrible daily pain since a week before I found out I was pregnant. My son is very healthy from what they can tell. I just cannot take this pain any longer and I haven’t even thought about trying to induce labor until yesterday for my baby’s sake. I went on a four mile walk today I went and got papya nectar and EPO. On Thursday my doctor said I was 50% effaced and a fingertip dialated so I really hope this will work.

And to Portia I am shocked you really need to give that baby up and get some mental help. Birth control was invented for a reason learn how to use it, better yet go get your tubes tied please. I am 19 and single I’m 5′9 I weighed 125 lbs before I was pregnant and I am now 175 lbs. The second I was pregnant my son became my life. Oh and I have NO strech marks!!!

katie- i have some advice.. try it all at once! lol.. i did and if you think about it, SOMETHING has to work for you if only some things work for some girls! your contractions will get really strong if one does work.. read my posts, i think i have 4 total up now lol.. the herb tea is proven to “tone” (by contracting) the uterus but just more intensly in some.. just make sure the box says all natural and not artificial! ((and chug or add sugar! lol, yuck!))

i am 36 weeks and 5 days today i have been using the premrose capsulses for 3 days now and going to use castoil on sunday to induce myself into labor while still taking the premrose to continue softening my cervix so my water will break hoping to have hi on 8.9.10 he will be 37 weeks and 1 day im a going to be a yong mother at 17 almost 18 my birthday is the nineteenth does anyone have any pointers?!?! excuse my french but im scared shitless….lol

alyssa- peeing blood might not b to much of a good thing, especially at 36 weeks.. maybe you should b on bedrest? or maybe your just to active for being that pregnant? if it was me, i would demand that they check to find out y.. bleeding 72 hours after sex is normal and 24 hours after a doctors exam, but not from being active..

tammy- you can have braxton hicks up until the point of labor.. mine were totaly irregular and i actually drove myself the half hour to the hospital for a doctors appointment to find out that i was in labor! only after they broke my water did my contractions become “regular” and i had her the next day.. 4cm is considered the start of labor, i was 5!

as for me checking back, i had my baby girl on july 8th. i think the effort was def worth it, it didnt put me into labor right then, but i would love to think that the self inducing had a part in helping me dilate cuz thoes 3 days after, of me waiting for my doctors appt was painfull to say the least! lol.. but who really knows, right? she was 2 weeks early at a healthy 8lbs 11oz!

hi ladies
today i am 39 weeks and been having irregular contractions for almost two weeks now only at 2cm dialated an 90% aface but the doc says they cant do anything untill the contractions regulate or my water breaks. they really suck this is baby girl number two. i have a bad medical history where m platelets tend to drop the longer i am pregnant but this women seems hell bent on risking me. i have tried sex and the accupressure but neither sem to work. so i guess i can try pizza kinda afraid of castor oil with the side effects. any suggestions would be wonderful.

hello everyone im 10 days over today and getting bored of waiting lol as u can imagine. ive had one sweep that didnt work had the pineapple and tea and still nothing, im begining to think will i ever have this baby lol but really wonted a home birth with this one ive got 2 boys already and they were born on there due dates so ive never had all this stress, got another sweep monday then if that work going to get indued on tuesday AARRGHH scared x
